I heard that too. But honestly these people who obsess over Lovecraft and others must have a pretty good life. They devote a ton of time to him and his views

There's letters of him kinda renouncing his old believes. To be fair: he is not more "racist" than people around the time he lived. He is no more racist than anyone around his time and if I do hear people speak about it I like to point that out every single time.
