UPDATE: He's also banned from travelling. Also turns out the judge literally ran for office under the Liberal Party: https://twitter.com/ezralevant/status/1448377707818012672

The judge is Adam Germain, a failed Liberal Party politician who was given a soft landing by Jean Chretien who appointed him to the bench. Germain was rejected by Albertans; and now in return he rejects Albertans' belief in freedom. It really is an atrocious ruling.

Instead, the judge fined him $42,000, forbade him from travelling till 2023, and ordered him to say the government's political rebuttal to himself anytime he talks about the pandemic.

Pastor Art and his brother was just sentenced. Rebel News' Sheila Gunn Reid was livetweeting but didn't thread it: https://twitter.com/SheilaGunnReid

Rebel was also doing a livestream (currently ongoing): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zs4-5lGZuyo

Art Pawlowski sentence: 3 days already served in jail. $3000 for breaching Gates order, $20,000 for Rooke order and service hours (which should be easy enough), and probation.

Dawid Pawlowski gets 10K fine and 3 days served and 1 year probation

AHS gets costs also - I think over $20,000

Chris Scott of the Whistle Stop Cafe, who started the Great Alberta Restaurant Rebellion, was also punished & is subject to the same script (as is Art's brother): https://twitter.com/SheilaGunnReid/status/1448317003089907713

Scott gets 3 days served, 18 months probation, has to pay over $10k in costs and I think $20k in fines 9

Germain is giving the 3 men a specific script that they are obligated to post every time they express a view contrary to AHS on social media or anywhere else - regarding masks, distancing, and vaccines.

no one is going to jail today unless they fail to pay those fines in 36 months

Holy moly. Germain is saying that the men cannot publicly criticize the public health orders unless they provide the other side of the debate - this includes social media posting.

Germain says Pawlowski's "vicious" statement to the court was a "cry for jail" and he will paint himself as a "martyred Christian". Cites Pawlowki's ability to raise.

Germain is upset that Pawlowski went on Fox News and embarrassed the govt and the court system in the land of the First Amendment and Religious Freedom

Germain is saying Pawlowski has no right to refer to health officials as Nazis - Pawlowski is a POLISH IMMIGRANT.

Germain says that Art's previous statement to the court as a taunt. Says he made himself a martyr, parlayed his title of pastor into a speaking tour. Germain is upset that Pawlowkis went to the United States to tell their story. (if you protest here, they put you in jail BTW)

Germain cites an unnamed TV doctor who compared people who don't follow health rules to people who drive drunk- mentions the "people you may kill"

Germain just said the sacrifices of the Rooke order - that outlawed protests - would not offend the charter of rights and freedoms.

Germain says the Pawlowskis "reveled in their arrest" .....after just saying the men were "arrested in a spectacle" like what we may see in a "third world country" when people protest.

Germain: breaches like this "challenge the authority of the court and bring the administration of justice into disrepute" Cites the court's right to "protect its own dignity" "All 3 breaches are in this more serious category."

Germain says currently Alberta is in the worst shape ever regarding covid 19. Says Art and Chris are also responsible for the state of covid crisis in Alberta because they caused the public to doubt the severity of the pandemic.

Jessica Simpson (Yaniv), the high profile trans litigant who dragged several female estheticians before the human rights tribunal in BC, is on the webex call for Pastor Art and Chris Scott. I overheard Jessica Simpson has asked for transcripts of this hearing for some reason.

court is done.

Yes it is.

UPDATE https://twitter.com/SheilaGunnReid/status/1448350760094208000

One last bizarre thing:

After the hearing, Pawlowski's lawyer noted to Justice Germain that he didn't refer to one the relevant cases that she presented in her written submissions

Germain replied that nobody's perfect, and that he's human

Did he even read her submissions?!

Lol, Canadians, time to make cops fear you more than “diversity” imports.

Steampunk_Moustache 25 points ago +25 / -0

That's the only solution at this point.

I predict nothing will happen.

Here's the wife of Pastor Tim Stephens, who was arrested twice in front of his crying kids for the crime of holding normal church service: https://twitter.com/RaquelAStephens/status/1448326572289638401

This the heart of it all. Instead of judging according to the laws of the land, they are instead trying to fix a perceived slight against their reputation (and further damaging that reputation in the process).

Responding to a cuck saying "No one took away the right to protest, they simply said it couldn’t happen in a manner prohibited by the injunction." https://twitter.com/RaquelAStephens/status/1448322041933750276

So… as long you protest in a way the govt approves, and as long as you say what the govt dictates, then you can still protest govt decrees (thus holding them accountable and keeping their power in check). Sir, we have very different understandings of Free Speech and Protest

Q: What is the difference between the Constitutions of the US and USSR? Both of them guarantee freedom of speech.

A: Yes, but the Constitution of the USA also guarantees freedom after the speech.

Compelled speech is supposed to be illegal in Canada.

Seems like usually if a judge wants to do something like this he offers a "choice" between a lesser sentence with certain speech requirements or a greater sentence without. That doesn't seem to be the case here.

TomSeeSaw 8 points ago +8 / -0

JP warned that this would happen. We're all headed down the slippery slope now.

YesMovement [S] 19 points ago +19 / -0

Illegal. Unconstitutional. Un-Canadian. Bizarre. Disqualifying. The judge is out of control.

TomSeeSaw 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yes, but he sounds like an autocrat after PM JT's own heart. And the Canadian public put him back in the PMs seat, so I have no doubt that nothing will happen.

Heck the Albertan Premier is bent over at this point.

Not all truthful statements must be free from restriction

-Supreme Court of Canada, 2013.

It doesn't even matter if this gets appealed all the way to the top. We are fucked.

Why would he need to? He is 'THE LAW'!

UnsubtleAardvark 14 points ago +14 / -0

Things like are why I'm glad that the first amendment extends to the government being unable to compel you to say something.

Goldsteinbergsky 19 points ago +19 / -0

Yeah but it's not like the illegitimate, criminal US government ever adheres to the US Constitution. Especially the Xiden regime, which has violated every part of the Constitution plus most other laws.

TomSeeSaw 4 points ago +4 / -0

Democrats can do no wrong. Just ask the Donkey.

Are potential assets a sound basis on which to assign fines? Why aren't corporations fined infinity dollars?

rabdargab 3 points ago +3 / -0

Because they fund politicians

oilwellpauper 12 points ago +12 / -0

severe judicial misconduct, what a psychopath

Chick-Fil-A 10 points ago +10 / -0

Unfortunately, Canada doesn't have protections as strong as those in the US for individual rights. It might be time for a constitutional convention for Canadians.

TomSeeSaw 4 points ago +5 / -1

The same Canadians that put JT back as PM? Sure.

FBoysInc 3 points ago +4 / -1

Do we know if they cheated though? Because it sounds to me like sketchy stuff was happening.

TomSeeSaw 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm sure there were shady stuff happening at an individual level. The lack of restrictions/earnings on individual politicians in Canada are crazy, considering how often the folk here like to act holier-than-thou looking South. The whole party though are a bunch of virtue signaling back stabbing wankers that can't see past non-diverse Halloween. I very much doubt they have the loyalty or intelligence to do any actual organized cheating.

YesMovement [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Other than bribing the media?

There's also reports that China was involved in a lot of meddling.

TomSeeSaw 2 points ago +2 / -0

Bribing the media is out in the open. Much like how the drama teacher has been donating billions to the indigenous, hiding all the details, and yet somehow they always need more. Just a passing of tax $ from one corrupt leadership to another. And the lemming public brought him back.

China most likely is organizing something, but again the party and its hacks are just useful idiots to them. The first ones who's organs will be up for donation when they stop being useful.

ANY person who does anything even remotely like this should be doxxed across the ENTIRE internet.

Recall that @CalgaryPolice arrested Pastor Artur in a SWAT-style take down, forcing him to kneel in a busy highway. Today judge Germain said Pastor Artur “revelled” in that “spectacle”, as if he orchestrated his own abuse. Germain blamed the victim.

Gizortnik 7 points ago +7 / -0

"Our abuse tactics didn't intimidate him, so he fucking wanted it."

"I punched my wife in the face, and she hit me back. Therefore, she wanted me to hit her."

Roadpower 7 points ago +7 / -0

As far as I am concerned humanity is in a state of war, a literal fight to have the freedom to think what you want. What the Canadian government is doing to Pawlowsky is a very clear attack on everything that made the West, the West. And for what it is worth I am a non-believer. IE in my view life comes about organically, not through invention by a being beyond the comprehension of humans.

Pawlowsky is a champion fully earning & deserving my respect and admiration for the fight he has taken up on behalf of all us, even those of us who are too foolish to figure out what is at stake.

YesMovement [S] 6 points ago +6 / -0

Found what should be a photo of the cuck judge: https://archive.is/PCRb6

He has a history of running for office and losing. While he did win once with the Liberal party, he also ran for party leader (coming in a distant 3rd) and for Member of Parliament he finished a distant second as the Liberal candidate.

He really doesn't want his photo shown BTW: https://archive.is/lu5ie

Judges have thick skins when it comes to criticism, but Smith's actions crossed the line, Germain said.

“When people challenge our integrity or suggest we're doing something unlawful or inappropriate — and if their words become hostile — it upsets us.”

This judge thinks he's a fucking monarch.

YesMovement [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

"Judges have thick skins when it comes to criticism, but when you dare question me, WORM, I fucking lose it!"

This judge thinks he's a fucking monarch.

He thinks he's Judge Dredd- I AM THE LAW!

FBoysInc 4 points ago +4 / -0

You'd hope at some point after society collapses that people have been keeping names.

Two Words:

Malicious Compliance.

Gizortnik 3 points ago +3 / -0

I mean, maybe, but I think this ruling warrants Civil Disobedience.

barwhack 3 points ago +3 / -0

He should post/interview PROLIFICALLY, with the addendum each time. Along with the judge's credits.

Gizortnik 4 points ago +4 / -0

And so the Canadian Red Terror and Show Trials continue.

Calgary judge hands out fines, not jail to prevent notoriety for COVID-19 violators https://archive.is/A0wE0

A Calgary judge says he is sparing a pastor, his brother, and a cafe owner jail time for violating COVID-19 rules because he doesn’t want the men to cash in on notoriety with more time behind bars.

Justice Adam Germain ruled Wednesday that Pastor Artur Pawlowski and his brother Dawid Pawlowski must pay stiff fines and Alberta Health Services costs because they would like nothing better than to become martyrs in jail.

The judge said the three men “contributed to this ominous health situation by their defiance of health rules and their public posturing, which has encouraged others to doubt the legitimacy of the pandemic and disobey the health orders assigned to protect them.” “(They) are on the wrong side of science. They’re also on the wrong side of common sense.” Artur Pawlowski spent three days in custody after his arrest. He would have loved more time in jail, said Germain.“The 21 days in jail would be a slap on the wrist that will make him a martyr,” said the judge.”`After Pastor Artur Pawlowski was found guilty of contempt, he went on a speaking tour of the United States, where he parlayed his title as a pastor and the fact he had been arrested for holding a church service into a rally cry that attracted like-minded individuals,” Germain said.

YesMovement [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

This judge is a literal Liberal politician: https://archive.is/UZk8U

Germain was elected to the Alberta Legislature in the 1993 Alberta general election. He won the electoral district of Fort McMurray picking it up for the Liberals.

Germain did not run for a second term in provincial office, instead choosing to run in the 1997 Canadian federal election. He ran against incumbent Reform Member of Parliament David Chatters and finished a distant second taking 30% of the popular vote.

Trudeau’s CBC state broadcaster is thrilled with a Liberal politician-turned-judge who has ordered a Christian pastor to “preach” in favor of vaccines, or go to prison. Imagine if that bigoted judge told a Muslim Imam or Jewish rabbi to do the same.
