Yesterday, the US House passed a bill providing for anti-missile defense systems in Israel. Very few opposed it. Some voted present. One voted no, then present. That was AOC.

Here is how the Walter Duranty New York Times reported it:

Minutes before the vote closed, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez tearfully huddled with her allies before switching her vote to “present.” The tableau underscored how wrenching the vote was for even outspoken progressives, who have been caught between their principles and the still powerful pro-Israel voices in their party, such as influential lobbyists and rabbis. (A spokesman for Ms. Ocasio-Cortez declined to comment on her change of position.) source

I don't care about the merits of this. But the NYT unceremoniously memoryholed this. It now reads:

Minutes before the vote closed, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez tearfully huddled with her allies before switching her vote to “present.” The tableau underscored how wrenching the vote was for even outspoken progressives, who have been caught between their principles and the still powerful pro-Israel voices in their party. (A spokesman for Ms. Ocasio-Cortez declined to comment on her change of position.) source

No update notice. Just memoryholed. Never existed. Where would we be without archives?

This is the only article covering it. It is from Fox News. I made it a self post so that I could link to the articles in question.

This is literally the worst sin a "journalist" can do. At least I can't think of much worse. OK maybe outright lying and making up sources, which is obviously not journalism yet they do it all the time. So stealth editing is #2. The paper of record ladies and gentlemen.

They do this all the time. They aren't journalists, they are an unrepentant and unmoved [Winston Smith.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winston_Smith_(Nineteen_Eighty-Four).

At least in 1984 you had someone who recognized the evil they were doing and tried to reject it, the NYT people see what they are doing as a good thing. They are the party apparatchiks.

I agree, number two seems apt. As lying to spread bullshit to change people's mind over something is a much bigger sin.

This was a pretty funny comment regarding this on Twitter:

AOC: I'm voting against Iron Dome

Rabbi: Oy

AOC: OK FINE! I WON'T DO IT OKAY??? 😭

I know this community is divided on Israel but I think we can all appreciate that AOC is a horse-faced two-faced liar.

AOC famously said congress should never vote present -

The squad are quite pointless

Well they do have a point, Glenn Greenwald wrote about it awhile back. It's basically to keep the crazies in the Democrat party in line. Pelosi owns AOC, and tells her what to do. So she goes and attacks people like Andrew Yang, who has no power at all in government. And of course she attacks every Republican everywhere. Her followers eat this stuff up and do exactly what they are all told. It's amazing, the sheep they truly are but think they are rebellious.

Controlled opposition?

Loose cannons that have had their powder dampened.

They let them have just enough spotlight to think they were actually going to challenge the establishment, then they got taken out back at some point and laughed at.

That's your takeaway from this post? Jesus, some people truly are lost.

I think it's an aspect of the situation that everyone can enjoy.

current_horror 1 point ago +2 / -1

The most interesting aspect of this story is that Jewish lobbyists smacked AOC down so hard that it reverberated all the way to the fucking news article.

current_horror 13 points ago +15 / -2

such as influential lobbyists and rabbis

Antonio and Jester: muh stormcucks, muh rabbis lol

why can't they pay for their own missile system?

-3
RealDrJester -3 points ago +1 / -4

They already are. Plus Israel did the R&D, and America is getting it in return, and is currently using it on sonme places.

GG-AOC just posted a 4-page statement where she purports to explain why she voted PRESENT instead of NO on US funding for Israel.

If anyone could find the part where she actually explains why she voted PRESENT instead of NO, please flag it for me. I genuinely can't find it.

I love this propoganda. the chick who goes to a 30k$ event and claims to fight for the average person does not have virtue.

Where would the dems be without their massive media machine? out of office.

More evidence that SJWs are just modern Stormcucks.

There is almost no difference between these two. Pathetic.

And nice find!!

redguards_are_nwahs 23 points ago +25 / -2

I know you shove the "stormcuck" dilator into every open slit you can find; still, humor me this.

Wiping out evidence of Jew-controlled influence seems like the opposite of something a neo-Nazi would do. Why use a literal opposite to try to demonstrate a commonality?

AntonioOfVenice [S] -10 points ago +2 / -12

I am pretty sure it was not the scary rabbis who kvetched her out of her position. That is some pretty conspiratorial thinking on the part of this 'journalist'.

14
current_horror 14 points ago +15 / -1

Wow, this is next level mental gymnastics even for you. I was surprised you even posted this shit given it's a clear L for your beliefs. The thing I didn't anticipate was the extent of your own delusion.

6
Socalwackjob 6 points ago +6 / -0

Still there must be some basis for this like adding lobbyists. We know there are lobbyists bribing politicians to enact a certain law, so it's plausible to think rabbis do have a bit of influence especially if it's new york where their religion is more prevalent than the other states, yes?

Editor, losing their job, either way these pink haired imbeciles are the stormcucks that came out of the closet.

15
SparkMandrill83 15 points ago +16 / -1

Weird how everyone regardless of race and gender becomes a "stormcuck" eventually. I wonder why?

-12
RealDrJester -12 points ago +1 / -13

From what I have seen, stormcucks view any non-white as inferior. They worship their Muslims though, but that is as far as they go with accepting them.

Plus, s tormcuck numbers are really low, as in, less and less people are becoming stormcucks

5
current_horror 5 points ago +6 / -1

From what I have seen, stormcucks view any non-white as inferior.

Then why do you call people stormcucks when they merely advocate for white survival? What sort of supremacy doctrine begins with "please stop attacking us"?

-2
RealDrJester -2 points ago +1 / -3

The same way I attack imbeciles such as yourself who attacks Jews whose whole doctrine is to "please stop attacking us ".

15
current_horror 15 points ago +16 / -1

How is this a nice find for you and Antonio? A major politician who opposes Israel was forced to change her vote, and a major newspaper reporting on this was forced to change it's story. This is a gigantic L for both of you, and you're here pretending the exact opposite. Everyone who disagrees with you is laughing.

-7
AntonioOfVenice [S] -7 points ago +2 / -9

A major politician who opposes Israel was forced to change her vote

Where are you getting the 'force' part?

and a major newspaper reporting on this was forced to change it's story

And this. The WD-New York Times is notorious for changing headlines and articles based on social media nonsense. Or are you going to blame that on da Jooooz as well?

3
redguards_are_nwahs 3 points ago +4 / -1

For the record: I know you're typing "da jooz" like that to make your opponent look stupid. However, it does the opposite.

-11
RealDrJester -11 points ago +1 / -12

Because it is a conspiracy theory as real as the Irish cabal?

3
-3
RealDrJester -3 points ago +1 / -4

Is there one today?

2
redguards_are_nwahs 2 points ago +3 / -1

Not to my knowledge. However, my point was to show that nationalistic nepotism is not unheard of. It's only fitting that the most well known example of that was your bullet proof Irish

-1
RealDrJester -1 points ago +1 / -2

My "bullet proof" Irish is still "bullet proof" because it is me mocking the cabal idea with a demographic that has no cabal.

4
redguards_are_nwahs 4 points ago +5 / -1

But they had a cabal.

I'm...actually confused how you can respond that way, considering the fact that Tammany Hall was an Irish cabal that existed in America for ~200 years.

Because they don't exist right now means that a cabal cannot exist ever again: that's your argument, correct? If so, are you actually retarded? I've called you that as an epithet before, but it might become taxonomic depending on your answer.
