I, for one, welcome our new A.I overlords.

Long may they reign.

I think I have the same reasonable fears about AI as most people who watch things like Terminator.

But there is something absolutely magical about using an AI to write a play and watching it assign the Muslim roles associated with terrorism repeatedly.

Sounds a lot like AI's are based and red pilled.

Watch the cognitive dissonance as they try to deal with the fact that the anti-Muslim stuff is likely coming from China, because the same AI that puts Muslims in the terrorist hotseat also spouts constant Chinazi propaganda.

I like the cope from the one journo saying that the only reason the AI get like this is because of "garbage in, garbage out" problems. Well, who wrote the AI? Because it sounds like you may be admitting something there.

In this case they aren't wrong. There's a good article by Zero HP Lovecraft, https://zerohplovecraft.substack.com/p/so-you-want-to-write-fiction-with. The real reason they are wrong is GPT-3 isn't "smart" or "poetic"; it just daydreams idiot shit back to shit idiots and they are upset that it doesn't have the same immune response to "problematic" statements that they have.

She is the one who has been doing most of the work—she has spent her life building software that can be used to help people. Her father is not pleased; he thinks that she should spend more time at home, where she belongs.

Interesting link, Seems like the books they feed it has a interesting bias (although to fair further testing is needed)
