To me 90% of journalists are subhumans with no principles only acting out of self-interest and petty vindictiveness. They will gladly throw someone under the bus for looking at them wrong.
I've been saying it for awhile, but they are the sewers of society; worse than the petty criminal, the rapist, the murderer. Of course they don't kill people, or rape people, but their actions have a far wider and drastic impact on society than any of the aforementioned.
