It's funny, there was a show 25 years ago called Grey Skies about aliens invading earth. The aliens themselves were being overrun by parasites that took control of their bodies/technology. They sent a warning to earth that took a while to decipher, the final part of it was "If you do not fight them now, you will only know the peace of surrender."
