I still don't get why they don't just create new characters. Not only do they destroy existing characters, they ONLY destroy existing characters. Such lack of imagination! I can come with one now, idk how about Hyena-man, who has the power to transform into half man, half hyena with berserker type moves. How about a black super hero that is analogous to Aquaman, except instead of fish and the ocean, it's the African savannah or jungle, etc.
They literally said that new characters don't sell and fans reject them (as they should).
One of the He-Man executives blatantly outright said they hijack existing characters and franchises because they have an established fanbase, and they use that fanbase to spread their propaganda. Remember, you can't indoctrinate people with a degenerate agenda if you don't have people to indoctrinate, which is why they anchor their propaganda to existing franchises and established characters.
Ah, found the article: https://boundingintocomics.com/2021/07/05/netflix-director-claims-king-grayskull-and-andra-race-swapped-in-masters-of-the-universe-revelations-because-new-characters-could-be-easily-rejected/
Here is what Ted Biaselli had to say about them race-swapping King Greyskull...
Wow, so at the end of the day, it's talentless people hijacking the art because they don't know how to get to the top of the market.
And then wrapping themselves in an LGBTQ flag to deflect criticism. It's so blatantly fucking obvious it's almost sad really. This whole SJW culture is really about companies wanting to protect their investment. They don't really want representation, they just know that criticizing a trans lead character is social suicide so their product's shittyness is masked.
Which, of course, is why they're never going to sell to anywhere except the People's Congress of the Soviet Union. They've marked any feedback that isn't mindless affirmation as "hate speech" and then wonder why they don't get any better.
