When the religious structures that've been around for 2,000 years go up in smoke in the span of a couple of decades, you get this.... everything is becoming a religion now. Race, sex, disability, obesity, a virus... you name it, they can make it into a faux-christian substitute.
I wonder if Zuby was inspired in part by Jonathan Pageau or someone in the same space as Pageau? He was the first (or one of the first, it's been over a year) people I saw to make the comparison to talismans.
