I expected to see the whole abuse accusation being something like "verbal abuse because I gained weight" or some sort of crap they came up with. It does actually seem like this woman went through some shit from this guy going back to a young teen and I'm not totally sure I blame her for offing him. I'm not sure this particular story is egregious enough on it's own for me to claim France is about to fall to female supremacy. Presuming it hasn't already fallen of course.
It does seem like there's a part of the story that's not being told though. It sounds like she had tons of opportunities to go a different direction and chose not to.
Yeah, I think that's what feels off about it. It's one of those stories that feels like it would be a badly written book. There's not enough nuance to it to give it a sense of being real.
She did write a book, so not only did she kill him, but she's also profiting.
Does that sound like the actions of a well-adjusted member of society like women's groups claim her to be, or the actions of a sociopathic sadist with deep hatred and desire to kill?

I would caution you on believing a single word she says. I personally don't believe any of it.
They always do have opportunities to leave, but they always prefer the brutal sadistic murder. Funny that.

What if you did believe that she was raped and abused for basically her whole life? Would you then say anything different from what you say now/
I don't believe it. I'm not sure what you mean here. I definitely don't believe her and there's no universe that exists where I would.
I know that you don't believe it, or say that you don't.
The question is: would you say anything differently if you did? I sense that you don't want to answer this question. Why is that?
