I'd rather kind of see an Earthdawn revival. It used to be in the same shared universe as Shadowrun. ie, Shadowrun shows you what happens while the Earth's magical field is strengthening. Earthdawn is set in the mythical past, when that field is just starting to wane. More fantasy based, and its system was way OP, but it was fun, and our GM really played up the more horrific aspects of a magically post-apocalyptic world.
I do hope they could bring the old feel to the games but I doubt it. Once things become political is hard to go back.

Richard Baker already relaunched Alternity through Sasquatch Games and frankly I vehemently despise the changes sooooo... yeah.
I hope his campaigns are wheelchair accessible.
