Eh, my wife and I bought the movies before all the woke horseshit started. There's nothing wrong with the books/movies. We regularly watch all the movies back to back. Just did so this weekend, in fact.

If anything, it's stunning how completely oblivious J.K. Rowling is. The entire story is a metaphor for what's happening now. A corrupt group of individuals that everyone's afraid of takes over the government, starting with the schools, and indoctrinates the weakest and most evil (slytherin) easily.

The first move of the evil regime is to attempt to disarm everyone, and prevent them from getting a proper education in order to keep them from being able to fight back.

The general population refuses to acknowledge the evil that is growing out of fear and ignorance. The media is complicit, constantly reporting that those telling the truth are just "crazy" and "conspiracy theorists", until the evil is in power, at which point they still just "go along" with it because, hey, they're the government, so that's just the way it is now.

A small handful of the populace refuses to give up their weapons, and instead trains and readies themselves for the inevitable war. They ultimately prevail.

Harry Potter, the books and movies, are based as shit. The morons making them are just too stupid to realize that.

But at this point, if you don't already own them, get a bootleg copy. No reason to give money to the anti-capitalist cunt that has no idea why her stories were a success.

Rowling isn't an amazing writer. She just made a solid enough story that had just enough appeal for teenagers and girls that came out at just the right time (a lull between vampires and then later vampires being popular) to blow up.

So all "metaphors" and applicability are in spite of her, rather than because of her. Which is why even she regularly fails to understand them and why people can see what you see in them.

Oh, I ENTIRELY agree with this. Even the stories themselves aren't particularly well written. She makes the excuse that they were "intended to become more mature as a the readers aged" except what REALLY happened was that she was a shitty writer that got better just through brute force experience and increasingly expensive editors.

The stories still have MASSIVE gaping plot holes, both the books and the movies. Half the fun is patching those holes yourself by making up non-world-breaking reasons for them to exist.

But the new fantasy world is fun, and entertaining. A nice switch from "everything has to stem from JRR Tolkein" or sparkly vampires. I enjoyed them.

I've nicknamed it the Margaret Thatcher Effect. The writer is fairly left leaning, and writes about how much Thatcher was evil, by making up terrible things, and mentioning ideas that Thatcher had. Then, when the left leaning folks are in charge, and doing a lot of the same things, they don't realize their early writings show their own evil.

There was a story of Doctor Who where he and ace were in an underground bunker, and laughter was evil. The villain was a woman who demanded everything be perfect, and no one was allowed to be unhappy with her. I saw it during the 2016 election, and was amazed at how much it looked like Hillary Clinton.

I think so. It has a candy man who can't stand her at all.

Unless an author requires authorization to publish within a system based on narrative control through suggestion. The idol called "J.K. Rowling" (jk rowling in Simple Gematria equals: 119 aka 911 encoding aka Tavistock calling card) represents a tool of narrative control to steer the cult of personality worshiping the suggested idols (Harry Potter franchise).

All these idols and actors used to act in their names are assets of the Crown Corporation aka the City of London aka the rothschild/bauer usury cartel.

There's no old lady writing novels; while making history...there's only organized crime utilizing the 'Tavistock Institute of Human Relations for social science to contemporary issues and problems' using mankind's utter ignorance of reality as the petridish for suggested fiction.
