I've been making a series of videos about the game Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is still selling at places like WalMart. The game has outlived console generations, while most other games are sold really cheap a few months later.
This long tail idea went through various guesses and thoughts of what was going on. In my previous video, I showed how Sony and Microsoft basically responded, and why they didn't want a long tail game in their library.
So, in this video, I show how Nintendo recognized they had a problem with their game sales for Zelda, and needed to rethink how they made games for the series. They specifically change based on what they studied and know for the game to fit what the fans actually wanted.
I may do another video to show how people have responded to their long tail games, but I haven't decided yet.
