The upcoming future of the USA under Democrats while the right still worries about optics.

I'm not sure it's optics anymore but unwillingness to sacrifice themselves. If there's any chance of this being stopped via political means you need the right wing politicians to put their political capital on the line (and perhaps their actual capital too). If they fail, the left has shown they will be coming after them relentlessly and will give them no quarter. It's total career suicide. It could possibly be successful with the right people and numbers putting it on the line, but the prime time for a lot of that has passed.
Then you have the rest of us. I have no political capital. The extent of my political influence is to contact politicians, vote, and bitch about it online. The only other options I have to deal with the government is to either attempt to build political capital (i.e. become a politician) or forcibly overthrow the standing government. Both in particular require a large surrounding group of support and would be destined to fail as a singular effort.
This is why we need to organize in some meaningful fashion and also why every attempt of the Right to organize and discuss the current nightmare gets shut down online or dogpiled by Feds. The Right's only chance of halting this dystopia is to communicate and organize, so the Left uses its power to stop that when at all possible.
Not sure how we circumvent that, but I'm open to suggestions.
Hmmmm....
It's tough, but you have to start underground first. All kinds of dissidents and freakshows managed to find one another before the internet made communication and fringe outreach much easier; it'll be a lesson we need to learn again.
Also, we'll need to lose the phones; communicate only person-to-person, or via hand-delivered written message only; direct communication can't be hacked.
Also, forming at the local level and expanding outward to create a bulwark against Fed interference is a must.
Well that's the thing isn't it? With everyone losing their minds over Covid and shutting everything down they've managed to largely cut off avenues for communicating person-to-person. It's kind of brilliant in how sinister it is.
Maybe a bit, but this is looking like a weak leftist government. Good chance of a hyperinflationary cycle coming up. Right wing populism is going to explode when the economy goes sour. It's not about optics. It's about support. Hard times will create strong men.
It's not optics. It's fear, comfortability and an unwillingness to live through tough times while not realizing that tough times are coming for you anyway so keeping your head down and mouth shut won't matter very soon. There's a reason Twitter and Facebook don't actually remove your accounts even though you're banned from using it, it's a list (likely saved to servers) and evidence of wrongthink to be used against you for the eventual online struggle sessions and real life show trials. When they actually pack the courts, extend a presidency term limit or remove it and fully purge the military of anyone who might turn traitor, then Mr. Toads Wild ride really begins. Things need to happen before all that, like fully outlawing voter id and culling states rights to self govern while getting rid of any real politicians in opposition, and I'm highly doubtful it'll be Super Cop and the Dementia Kid who are the ones who will complete it....probably 3 more presidencies to pull it off completely, with some help from silicon valley and the MSM for social correction and propaganda. And no another Trump isn't going to happen, they've made sure of that, so it's neocons and shitlibs from here on out at a federal level.
I doubt it will come to that. They will remove conservatives from polite society and remove as many whites from any position of importance under the guise of diversity and tolerance. What is the point to do stuff like this when they can humiliate and replace white conservatives, lets not forget that Europe is still overwhelmingly white and they may have a thing or 2 to say about it.
You're too optimistic like those Chiang Kai-shek supporters when Mao took over before they got dragged into struggle sessions and executed in the killing fields. I'm being realistic here.
A Mao type leftist force could only come about through a civil war. If it ever gets to that point, you better damned well be sure the left doesn't win, because that's when we'd get killing fields. Honestly, we might regardless of who wins, but better the right wingers be holding the rifles than kneeling at the ditch.
And with a crumbling infrastructure, gutted government, and huge loss of population, our enemies' global influence expands drastically. Of course, also acknowledge that if a US civil war doesn't lead to WWIII, it'll at least pull the entire world into a deep depression... path to Great Reset?
Straight up invasion, however, still seems a vastly unlikely possibility, since no other nation on Earth has the capability to form an effective force, even combined with other nations. Being surrounded by ocean East and West and hard-to-navigate terrain at our North and South is a huge boon strategically.
